Bio Med Sciences scar management products were highlighted with 2 invited abstracts at the 14th European Burns Association Congress in September 14-17 2011 at the World Forum Congress Center, The Hague, The Netherlands.
An oral presentation entitled Current Rehabilitation Updates in the Practice Management of Facial Scar Hypertrophy and a poster presentation entitled “The Use of Silicone Lined, Low Temperature Thermoplastics in the Rehabilitation of Pediatric Hand Burns” were presented. Both of these clinical research presentations were authored by Michael A. Serghiou, MBA, OTR, Director of Rehabilitation Services, The Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Galveston, TX and Jonathan Niszczak, MS, OTR/L, Senior Burns Therapist, Temple University Burn Center in Philadelphia, PA.
